WICET is the first greenfield coal export terminal developed in Queensland in over 20 years. Decades of experience and innovative thinking in the design, delivery, expansion and operation of global ports, delivered a groundbreaking facility that has not only revolutionised the port’s operations, but will serve the industry’s needs well for decades to come.

Ten years in the making from concept to operation, its world-first fully-automated gantry stacker is the jewel in WICET’s crown. More than 35 metres tall, wider than Queensland’s Suncorp Stadium and capable of stacking coal unloaded from 100 train wagons in just a single hour, this incredible machine is the only one of its kind in the world.
